Tulsi FAQs

General Information

You’ll find us in the heart of Carytown at 3131 W. Cary St, Richmond, VA 23221 — surrounded by local charm, warm energy, and some of the best walkability in the city. It’s the perfect neighborhood for the kind of dining experience we love to create.

Tulsi celebrates the depth and beauty of North Indian cooking, prepared with fresh ingredients, intentional spice balance, and recipes inspired by our family’s roots.

“Tulsi” is the holy basil plant — honored in India for its healing qualities, comforting aroma, and deep spiritual meaning. The name reflects the heart and heritage behind everything we serve.

We’ve had the privilege of serving Richmond since 2017 — a daughter and son proudly continuing the legacy of their parents and the traditions of a small village of just 5,000 people.
